WHO Releases New Evidence on Hearing Loss and Dementia Risk

The World Health Organization has published Web Annex G, an accompanying document to its updated guidelines on reducing the risk of cognitive decline and dementia. This annex compiles extensive evidence and an evidence-to-decision framework, specifically supporting recommendations related to managing hearing loss as a factor in dementia risk reduction. It aims to inform both policy-making and clinical practice regarding interventions for adults with hearing loss.
