CDC Extends Suspension Order for Travelers from Uganda, DRC, and South Sudan Amidst Ebola Outbreak

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued an order extending the suspension of entry for certain non-U.S. citizens who have recently been present in Uganda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), or South Sudan. This measure, effective through August 12, 2026, is a continuation of public health actions implemented in response to the ongoing Ebola outbreak in these regions. The order, which will be published in the Federal Register on July 16, 2026, applies to individuals who have departed from or were present in these countries within the previous 21 days.
