GE HealthCare has initiated a Class II recall for 38 Optima XR220amx mobile X-ray systems. The recall addresses a safety concern where a potential failure in the internal counterpoise cable could disable the mechanism preventing the X-ray tube arm from falling. This issue poses a risk of injury to patients.
