Drug Manufacturer Recalls Cyclophosphamide Injection Due to Particulate Contamination

Sunny Pharmtech, Inc. has initiated a voluntary nationwide recall of three lots of Cyclophosphamide for Injection, USP, after steel particulate matter was discovered in the product. The FDA warns that intravenous administration of contaminated product could lead to serious adverse events, including death. While no adverse events have been reported yet, the recall underscores critical patient safety concerns.
