European Medicines Agency Recommends New Cholesterol Drugs and Updated COVID-19 Vaccines

The European Medicines Agency's CHMP has endorsed marketing authorizations for twelve new medications, including three novel treatments for high cholesterol. Additionally, the committee recommended updates to several COVID-19 vaccines to specifically target the new XFG variant for the upcoming 2026/2027 vaccination campaign.
