Major Study Links Coffee Consumption to Lower Risks of Liver Disease, Cancer, and Cirrhosis
A significant long-term study, published in *Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology* and reported by Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, has found that coffee consumption is associated with lower risks of cirrhosis, liver cancer, and death from liver disease. The research, which followed nearly 355,000 UK Biobank participants for over a decade, also showed coffee drinkers had healthier liver scans and blood protein patterns, with benefits observed even at one to two cups daily.
