A comprehensive long-term study involving hundreds of thousands of participants has found a strong correlation between regular coffee intake and a reduced risk of liver disease, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. Published in Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, the research also indicated that coffee drinkers showed healthier liver markers. Benefits were observed with as little as one to two cups daily, with optimal effects at three to four cups.
