CDC Expands Investigation into Multistate Cyclosporiasis Outbreak

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is investigating a widespread cyclosporiasis outbreak now affecting nine U.S. states. This public health concern, linked to shredded iceberg lettuce from Taylor Farms New Mexico, has resulted in nearly 2,000 confirmed cases and almost 100 hospitalizations. Michigan is currently reporting the highest number of cases.
