Kura Oncology Announces Durable Clinical Activity of Darlifarnib Plus Cabozantinib in Advanced Kidney Cancer

Kura Oncology, Inc. reported updated Phase 1a results from the FIT-001 clinical trial, demonstrating encouraging and durable clinical activity of darlifarnib plus cabozantinib in cabozantinib-naïve patients with advanced clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). The combination showed objective response rates up to 50% and a median progression-free survival of 13 months, comparing favorably with historical outcomes for monotherapies. The findings support further development, including dose selection for a global, randomized Phase 1b study.
