The cyclosporiasis outbreak, primarily linked to shredded iceberg lettuce from Taylor Farms de Mexico, has spread to four additional states. Michigan alone has reported 9,680 cases. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has also identified a separate, new outbreak of cyclosporiasis affecting at least 72 people.
