FDA Approves First Regulatory T-Cell Therapy to Improve Stem Cell Transplant Outcomes for Blood Cancers

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Tregzi™ (allogeneic regulatory T cell-based immunotherapy with HSPC and T cells-vldq), a first-in-class regulatory T-cell therapy. This treatment is designed to improve outcomes and significantly reduce the risk of chronic graft-versus-host disease in adults undergoing matched donor stem cell transplantation for certain blood cancers.
