FDA Approves Cipla's Generic Version of Advair Diskus

Cipla Limited and Cipla USA Inc. received FDA approval for their generic fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder, a therapeutic equivalent to Advair Diskus®. This approval covers all three strengths of the medication, which is used to treat asthma and COPD. The availability of a generic version is expected to enhance patient access and potentially reduce costs for this widely prescribed combination therapy.
