Phase 3 Study Shows Ralinepag Significantly Reduces Clinical Worsening in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension

Full results from the ADVANCE OUTCOMES Phase 3 study, published in The Lancet, demonstrate that ralinepag significantly reduced the risk of a clinical worsening event by 55% in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) compared to placebo. The investigational oral prostacyclin pathway treatment also showed statistically significant improvements in secondary endpoints, including a 24.3% reduction in NT-proBNP levels and a 20.4-meter improvement in six-minute walk distance. No new safety signals were observed, with common adverse events consistent with known prostacyclin pathway effects.
