Sunny Pharmtech Recalls Cyclophosphamide Vials Over Steel Particulates

Sunny Pharmtech has issued a nationwide recall for three lots of Cyclophosphamide for Injection, USP, after steel particulates were found in the vials. This recall, affecting 1g/vial and 2g/vial dosages, carries a risk of severe thromboembolic events for oncology patients receiving intravenous administration. The affected products were distributed across the U.S. between May and October 2024, prompting patient safety concerns.
