FDA Approves Viatris' Gwyn Lo, a New Low-Dose Contraceptive Patch

The FDA has approved Viatris' Gwyn Lo, a new once-weekly combined hormonal contraceptive patch with low-dose estrogen. This provides a non-invasive birth control option for women of childbearing potential with a BMI below 30 kg/m², who are suitable candidates for hormonal contraception. The approval is based on efficacy and safety data from the Phase 3 Luminous study.
