FDA Approves SIMTRIYO, a New 'First-in-Class' NDSRI for ADHD in Adults and Children

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved SIMTRIYO (centanafadine), a new daily extended-relief tablet for the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in adults and children aged 6 years and older who weigh at least 44 pounds. Developed by Otsuka Pharmaceutical, SIMTRIYO is the first norepinephrine, dopamine, serotonin reuptake inhibitor (NDSRI) to be approved for ADHD, offering a novel treatment approach.
