Brazil Seeks WHO/PAHO Validation for Elimination of Mother-to-Child Hepatitis B Transmission

Brazil has submitted a dossier to the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and World Health Organization (WHO) requesting validation for the elimination of mother-to-child transmission of hepatitis B as a public health problem. This initiative, announced on World Hepatitis Day, could position Brazil as one of the first countries in the Americas to achieve this significant public health milestone.
