Researchers at the Medical University of Vienna have developed a new strategy, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, enabling kidney transplants for highly sensitized patients previously without options. This approach utilizes the cancer drug Teclistamab to significantly reduce transplant-rejecting antibodies.
