A pilot U.S. clinical trial, published in Communications Medicine, found psilocybin-assisted therapy to be safe and effective for veterans with severe, treatment-resistant PTSD. 75% of participants achieved remission one month post-study, with significant reductions in PTSD symptoms and no serious adverse events.
