New Research Shows Bepirovirsen Achieves 'Functional Cure' in 20% of Chronic Hepatitis B Patients

Results from two global multi-center Phase III clinical trials, published in The New England Journal of Medicine, indicate that adding the antisense oligonucleotide drug bepirovirsen to existing nucleoside analog treatment can achieve a 'functional cure' in approximately 20% of chronic hepatitis B patients whose viral replication is well-controlled.
