ASCO Updates Guidelines for Advanced Non–Small Cell Lung Cancer, Adding New Targeted Therapies

The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) has issued an updated version (2026.3.0) of its living clinical practice guideline for systemic therapy in stage IV non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with driver alterations. The update now includes repotrectinib (Augtyro) as a recommended option for patients with ROS1 rearrangement–positive disease and zongertinib (Hernexeos) for those with HER2 tyrosine kinase domain (TKD)–mutant disease.
