FDA Provides Further Regulatory Guidance to Acurx Pharmaceuticals for Ibezapolstat Clinical Development

Acurx Pharmaceuticals announced that the FDA has provided additional regulatory guidance for the clinical development program of its drug ibezapolstat. Following a Type C meeting, the FDA indicated openness to further discussions regarding a single Phase 3 trial registration plan and a trial design that could support both the treatment and reduction of recurrence of *C. difficile* infection (CDI).
