FDA Approves Garzulys, a New Biosimilar Insulin for Diabetes

The FDA has approved Garzulys (insulin aspart-fsan) injection, a biosimilar to NovoLog (insulin aspart). This rapid-acting human insulin analog is indicated to improve glycemic control in adults and pediatric patients with diabetes mellitus and is approved for both subcutaneous and intravenous administration. Garzulys is now the third NovoLog biosimilar on the market.
