FDA Approves New Therapy for Metastatic Prostate Cancer
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved lutetium Lu 177 vipivotide tetraxetan (Pluvicto, Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation) in combination with androgen receptor pathway inhibitor (ARPI) therapy. This approval is for adults with prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-positive metastatic androgen pathway modulation-naïve or -sensitive prostate cancer.
