GE HealthCare Introduces New FDA-Cleared Breast Ultrasound Systems
GE HealthCare has launched Invenia ABUS Prime and ABUS StreamVue, new breast imaging solutions that received FDA 510(k) clearance and CE Marking. These systems are designed to enhance supplemental screening for women with dense breasts, a population facing a four to six times higher risk of breast cancer where mammography often misses diagnoses. The technology aims to standardize 3D ultrasound acquisition and facilitate remote reading, improving early detection efforts.
