FDA Advisory Committee Recommends Adding Certain Peptides to Compounding Bulk Substance List

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee (PCAC) has voted to recommend adding several peptides to the 503A compounding bulk substance list. This move could make peptides such as BPC-157, KPV, TB-500, MOTs-C, Emideltide, Semax, and Epitalon eligible for lawful compounding, despite previous FDA scientist concerns about potential safety risks.
