Engineered Chewing Gum Shows Promise in Reducing HPV Levels and Bacteria Linked to Head and Neck Cancer

New research indicates that a specially engineered chewing gum significantly reduced Human Papillomavirus (HPV) levels by up to 93% and nearly eliminated two types of bacteria associated with head and neck cancer. The treatment also preserved beneficial mouth bacteria, offering a potential for a safer and more affordable approach to addressing HPV and related cancers.
