Phase 3 Trial Shows VOYXACT Stabilizes Kidney Function in IgA Nephropathy
Positive two-year results from the Phase 3 VISIONARY trial indicate that VOYXACT (sibeprenlimab-szsi) significantly stabilized kidney function in adults with primary IgA nephropathy (IgAN) at risk of disease progression. The study met its key secondary endpoint by reducing kidney function decline to the physiologic rate, as defined by KDIGO guidelines, while maintaining a safety profile comparable to placebo. These findings support Otsuka's ongoing application for traditional U.S. FDA approval.
