Moderna's mRNA-Based Seasonal Influenza Vaccine, mFLUSIVA, Approved by U.S. FDA for Adults 50 and Older

Moderna, Inc. announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved mFLUSIVA® (mRNA-1010), its new mRNA-based vaccine against seasonal influenza, for use in all adults aged 50 years and older. This approval follows unanimous recommendations from the FDA's Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee.
