FDA Approves Gwyn Lo, a New Once-Weekly Contraceptive Patch

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Gwyn Lo (norelgestromin and ethinyl estradiol transdermal system), a new once-weekly combined hormonal contraceptive patch. This low-dose estrogen patch is indicated for women of childbearing potential with a body mass index (BMI) below 30 kg/m² who are suitable candidates for combined hormonal contraception.
