Lutetium Lu 177 Vipivotide Tetraxetan Extends Progression-Free Survival in Metastatic Prostate Cancer

Results from the phase 3 PSMAddition trial, published in The Lancet, indicate that adding lutetium Lu 177 vipivotide tetraxetan (Pluvicto) to standard therapy significantly extended radiographic progression-free survival in patients with PSMA-positive metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer. This represents a promising new therapeutic option for this patient population.
