RiboX Therapeutics Receives FDA IND Clearance for First Circular RNA-Based in vivo CAR Therapy for Autoimmune Cytopenias

RiboX Therapeutics Ltd. has announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cleared its Investigational New Drug (IND) application for RXIM002. This marks the world's first circular RNA-based in vivo CAR-T therapy delivered by a targeted lipid nanoparticle (tLNP) to achieve FDA IND clearance. RXIM002 aims to generate functional CAR-T cells directly within the patient's body, potentially bypassing complex ex vivo manufacturing processes and expanding patient access for autoimmune cytopenias.
