Nationwide Recall Issued for Dog and Horse Medications Due to Glass Fibers

A nationwide recall has been issued for certain lots of injectable dog and horse medications after glass fibers were discovered in the vials. The company stated that administering products containing particulate matter, such as glass fibers, may lead to local irritation, swelling, inflammation, injection site pain, infection, or abscesses. Veterinary hospitals, distributors, and retailers have been instructed to return unused recalled products to the manufacturer or properly discard them.
