Nationwide Cyclospora Outbreak Continues to Grow, CDC Reports
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that the nationwide cyclospora outbreak is expanding, with 13,895 confirmed cases and an additional 10,455 possible cases as of August 11, 2026. Seven hundred forty people have been hospitalized, and two deaths have been reported in Michigan. The outbreak is linked to multiple clusters, with the largest allegedly tied to Taylor Farms de Mexico iceberg lettuce served at Taco Bell restaurants.
