Taylor Fresh Foods is recalling various finished products containing jalapeños, including salsas and guacamoles, due to potential Salmonella contamination. This action follows notification that Coast Citrus Distributors is voluntarily recalling fresh jalapeños. A grower in Sinaloa, Mexico, has been identified as the potential source of the contamination, which is currently under investigation by the FDA and CDC. The recalled products were distributed to retail centers in 26 states, with 'Best If Used By' dates up to and including August 16, 2026. While Taylor Fresh Foods is not aware of any reported illnesses linked to its products to date, consumers are advised to discard any recalled items.
