HHS allocates $102 million to expand health center access nationwide

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is investing $102 million through HRSA to expand the Health Center Program. This funding will support 158 health centers in establishing 415 new sites, aiming to provide comprehensive primary care to nearly 1 million additional people across the country. This marks the first significant expansion of the program since 2019, enhancing healthcare access.
