Ahpra appoints new head of its Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Strategy Unit

The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) has announced the appointment of Nicole McCartney as the new National Director of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Strategy Unit (HSU). This strategic appointment aims to further Ahpra's commitment to culturally safe healthcare and the elimination of racism within Australia's health system, building on the National Scheme's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health and Cultural Safety Strategy 2020-2025.
