North Carolina Initiates Church-Based Mental Health Support Training Program

North Carolina has launched a new program to certify over 100 individuals from more than 60 churches in mental health support. This initiative aims to address mental, behavioral, and substance use needs within communities, particularly reaching those hesitant to seek traditional help due to stigma. Formal certification levels will begin on September 21, expanding access to crucial support.
