WHO Reports Escalating Attacks on Healthcare in Conflict Zones

The World Health Organization (WHO) has reported a significant escalation in attacks on healthcare facilities, workers, and patients within conflict zones, including Ukraine and Gaza, during 2026. These incidents have averaged over four per day, with more than 900 attacks recorded between January and August, resulting in at least 900 deaths and over 1,400 injuries. This trend highlights a severe humanitarian crisis.
