Bangladesh Measles Outbreak Death Toll Exceeds 900

Bangladesh has reported 8 additional child deaths from measles-like symptoms, pushing the total confirmed and suspected fatalities this year to 902. The Directorate General of Health Services also noted 728 new suspected and 70 new confirmed cases, bringing cumulative infections to 141,776 suspected and 17,800 confirmed nationwide. This ongoing outbreak represents a critical public health challenge, particularly impacting children.
