EU to Review Experimental Lyme Disease Vaccine

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has accepted an application from Pfizer and Valneva to review an experimental vaccine for Lyme disease, VLA15. Trials have shown a 70% efficacy rate in individuals aged five and above for the tick-borne illness, which currently lacks an approved vaccine.
