EU Regulators to Review Experimental Lyme Disease Vaccine from Pfizer and Valneva

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has accepted an application from Pfizer and French-Swiss firm Valneva to study an experimental vaccine for Lyme disease, known as PF-07307405. Trials have indicated a 70% efficacy rate in individuals aged five and older for the tick-borne illness, which currently lacks an approved vaccine.
