FDA Grants Priority Review for GSK's Jemperli in Advanced Rectal Cancer

The FDA has accepted GSK's Jemperli for priority review in previously untreated stage II and III dMMR/MSI-H locally advanced rectal cancer. Data from the AZUR-1 trial suggest the drug could eliminate the need for chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery for some patients. A PDUFA action date is set for February 2027.
