WHO Issues Updated Temporary Recommendations for Ebola Bundibugyo Virus Disease Outbreak in Democratic Republic of Congo

These recommendations provide more detailed guidance on surveillance, case detection, infection prevention, clinical care, risk communication, and community engagement. New sections include social measures, mass gatherings, and domestic mobility, advising to postpone mass gatherings in areas with ongoing community transmission. The risk for DRC is assessed as 'Very high'.
