European Medicines Agency (EMA) Highlights New Medicine Recommendations for August 2026

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has recommended several new medicines for approval in August 2026, including Ruxolitinib Viatris (a generic for myelofibrosis, polycythaemia vera, and graft-versus-host disease) and Cavoley (a biosimilar for neutropenia after chemotherapy). An extension of indication for Jivi (for haemophilia A) was also noted.
