FDA Approves First-in-Class Targeted Therapy for Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Rasonque (daraxonrasib), a RAS inhibitor, for the treatment of adults with metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma who have received at least one prior systemic therapy or are not candidates for multiagent systemic therapy. This approval provides a new, targeted treatment option for a historically difficult-to-treat cancer.
