Baxter recalls two products due to particulate contamination risks

Baxter has voluntarily recalled lots of anticoagulant sodium citrate solution and Dextrose Injection due to the detection of fiberglass and stainless steel particles, respectively. Particulate matter in these intravenous products can cause serious health consequences, including vein irritation, embolization, blockages, organ damage, or death, prompting customers to discontinue use.
