Federal Panel Adopts New Comprehensive Autism Strategic Plan

The Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee (IACC) has approved a new strategic plan for autism, marking the first comprehensive update in over three years. This plan recommends that the U.S. government restructure its priorities and nearly double its annual investment in autism to over $747.4 million. Additionally, it calls for a new autism.gov portal to connect individuals and families with essential resources, aiming to significantly enhance support and research.
