Baxter Recalls IV Solutions Due to Particulate Contamination

Baxter International Inc. is recalling one lot of 70% Dextrose Injection due to potential stainless steel particles and two lots of 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection due to potential fiberglass particles. Intravenous administration of solutions containing such particulate matter can lead to serious adverse health consequences, including blood vessel blockage and organ damage.
