B. Braun Recalls Sodium Chloride Injection Over Particulate Contamination

B. Braun Medical Inc. has initiated a nationwide recall of three lots of 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection USP, 100 mL, due to the presence of zinc oxide particulate matter. The FDA classified this as a Class I recall, indicating a reasonable probability of severe, life-threatening adverse health consequences, including pulmonary emboli and organ damage.
